Last year I thought it's about time for me to have an online portfolio, but I wanted more than a simple list of titles and a short description. Also, I didn't wanted to make them blog entries and sites that offer portfolio hosting are basically hosting image galleries and that's not very useful for a developer. Long story short I decided to make my own portfolio engine.
Thus PortfolioEngine.Net was born. It's free, open source, supports themes and multiple languages but most important it offers a structure to showcase better your work: you can detaliate your roles in the project and you can share some 'behind the scenes' information that you think is interesting.
